We are still about a month away from kickoff, but everyone is getting excited about the Clemson vs. LSU game that is set to headline Week 1.
While Week 0 will provide some interesting matchups, but just a handful of them, Week 1 will really get the season started with some ranked battles and arguably the best game of all between the Tigers of Baton Rouge, La., and the Tigers of Clemson, S.C.
Brian Kelly has already gotten some punches in with the "Death Valley Jr." comments and Dabo Swinney and Co. have been taking note and not returning any fire.
Clemson has done a great job of keeping itself away from bulletin board material while Kelly has been providing it despite the fact that he can't seem to win a single season opener with LSU.
The intrigue leading up to this event is top-tier, though. Even though Kelly is giving Clemson all the ammo it needs, it's still riling up college football fans who want to see an elite showdown in Death Valley over Labor Day Weekend.
This has also driven up the demand for tickets. And the prices have been reflected.
If you plan on attending the season opener between LSU and Clemson and haven't yet bought your tickets, get ready to take out a second mortgage. The get-in price is $321, per Grayson Mann.
I got curious and looked at the get-in price for Clemson-LSU...it is currently sitting at $321, according to StubHub.

The price continues to rise for opener.
I mean, that's just incredible. Clemson fans just want to see their team take on a ranked opponent and for those who didn't grab season tickets, they're going to have to decide whether to make a couple of car payments or attend the biggest non-conference game of the year.
So, if you're looking for tickets, you may want to get them now before the price soars above $500.
