Friday night's Clemson vs. USC Upstate baseball game will be the second of a double-header at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, following Kentucky vs. West Virginia earlier in the day.
The winner of Friday's contests will have a leg up on the rest of the field in a double-elimination regional in Clemson. If the Tigers win, they'll face the winner of Kentucky and West Virginia. If they lose, they'll be forced to win the remainder of their regional matchups if they want to move on.
The Tigers have been one of the better teams in the ACC all season and made it to the conference title game but lost 14-4 to North Carolina. Pitching has been the Achilles heel of the Tigers all season but Drew Titsworth is looking to change that on Friday night as he's been given the starting nod.
It's hard to believe postseason baseball is already here, but that signals the start of summer.
Here's how you can watch Friday's Clemson vs. USC Upstate game:
Date: Friday, May 30
Time: 6 p.m. ET
Location: Clemson, S.C.
Venue: Doug Kingsmore Stadium
TV: ACC Network
Live stream: ESPN+ (or the ESPN app) or FuboTV
Clemson will be favored in each of its matchups this weekend because of home-field advantage but it can't be overlooking USC Upstate who Erik Bakich has called the best 4-seed in any region.
Campus should be buzzing on Friday with this massive postseason game as well as football official visitors making their way to Clemson (about 30 of them). Anyone else excited?
