Clemson baseball needed some late-game heroics from TP Wentworth, Cam Cannarella, and Jacob McGovern to beat USC Upstate on Friday night, 7-3, to advance to Saturday's regional matchup with fellow 1-0 foe West Virginia.

The Mountaineers also needed some late-game magic to beat Kentucky with a walk-off single. Both teams are entering this matchup with emotions running high and energy potentially running low after exhausting Game 1s.

Clemson has been one of the best teams in the nation this season, rising into the top-five range not too long ago before a cold spell. Fans weren't thrilled with not getting a top eight seed. They also shouldn't have been too happy with getting matched up against USC Upstate who Erik Bakich called the best 4-seed in any region.

West Virginia isn't exactly a pushover as a 2-seed, either. The Mountaineers went 41-14 in the regular season before beating Kentucky on Friday afternoon.

We're going to see some fireworks in Clemson on Saturday night as the Tigers face WVU.

Here's everything you need to know about the Clemson vs. West Virginia game:

Date: Saturday, May 31
Time: 6 p.m. ET
Location: Clemson, S.C.
Venue: Doug Kingsmore Stadium
TV: ACC Network
Live stream: ESPN+ (or the ESPN app) or FuboTV

The winner of Saturday night's game heads into Game 3 with a 2-0 record and it'll face the winner of the game between Saturday night's loser and the afternoon's winner (Kentucky vs. USC Upstate) to decide the winner of the region.

A win for Clemson puts it in a prime spot to make a second straight Super Regional.
