Seven times over the past five days, Dabo Swinney has probably been seen in his office pumping his fist over a new talented commit in the 2026 class.

The Clemson football class has gone from five to 12 members over the past five days and it's interesting timing considering spring ball has just begun and official visit season hasn't even commenced yet.

But Swinney has found a way to make moves with some of the top players in the 2026 class, with the latest being Kaden Gebhardt from Lewis Center, Ohio, on Tuesday morning. He chose the Tigers over Penn State and Ohio State. He joins guys like Adam Guthrie (who started the hot streak), Chancellor Barclay, Connor Salmin, Naeem Burroughs, Grant wise, and Marcell Gipson who also committed over the past week.

The start of the trend (Guthrie) is also becoming a bit of a fan favorite. He took to social media to defend his future program after reading the comment section of the Gebhardt commitment announcement.

An opposing fan claimed that Dabo Swinney and Co. were dumping money into recruiting before the summer official visits even begin and there's no way they'll all stick around.

Guthrie took exception to this, quote tweeting the opposing fan.

"Well, what sucks for you guys is the fact that we aren’t buying players we are getting guys who want to be here and are big on faith. And want to be turned into men and are looked at as human beings not just ball players. When that happens a ton of good will happen."
Adam Guthrie to rival fan on Twitter

Anyone who has followed Dabo knows that he likes to recruit guys who want to be fully bought in and Guthrie epitomizes that. He's only been committed for a few days now and he's already saying that Clemson is the program that's going to turn him into a man and he loves it there because it's big on faith (something Dabo preaches).

Guthrie ends it with "a ton of good will happen" when talking about how his fellow classmates have bought in.

I don't know about you, but I think this makes him an instant fan favorite. What do you think?
