CBS Sports released a new mock draft for the 2026 NFL Draft, and Clemson fans will be thrilled to see the latest Tigers going in the first round.

Ryan Wilson of CBS Sports is projecting four Clemson Tigers to hear their name called in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Those four Tigers are defensive lineman Peter Woods, edge T.J. Parker, cornerback Avieon Terrell, and wide receiver Antonio Williams.

As for landing spots, Wilson has Woods being selected with the third pick by the New Orleans Saints, Parker being chosen by the Tennessee Titans with the sixth pick, Terrell being chosen by the Dallas Cowboys with the 14th pick, and Williams being chosen by the Kansas City Chiefs with the 28th pick.

How the four Clemson players have fared so far in 2025

Woods has gotten off to a little bit of a slow start in terms of putting up numbers. In the recent blowout win against UNC, Woods recorded 21 snaps and earned a Pro Football Focus grade of 79.2 in the win against the Tar Heels. Woods is making an impact on the front line of the defense, even if he is not recording the stats on paper to grab someone’s attention. Woods has totaled 15 tackles (five solo tackles), 0.5 tackles for loss, and one pass defensed. He has yet to get a sack so far in 2025.

Wood’s counterpart on the defensive line, T.J. Parker, has performed better so far in 2025. Parker has recorded 16 total tackles (11 solo tackles), 4.5 tackles for loss, two sacks, and one pass breakup. Coming off an 11-sack and 19.5 tackle for loss season in 2024, the Phenix City, Alabama, native is off to a great start, posting back-to-back very successful seasons at Clemson.

In the Clemson secondary, Terrell has been a leader of that group for the 2025 season. The Atlanta, Georgia, native has 24 tackles (16 solo tackles), 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack, three forced fumbles, six passes defensed, and six pass breakups through the first five games of the 2025 season.

Arguably, Cade Klubnik’s favorite target, Williams, has shown some issues with drops, dropping eight passes in 2024. Dealing with a hamstring injury this season that has kept him out of two games, Williams has still put up 10 receptions for 86 receiving yards, but has not yet found the endzone yet in 2025. Williams did have a 75-yard passing touchdown to fellow receiver T.J. Moore.

The four players who are predicted to be first-round picks, according to CBS Sports, are all major contributors for the Tigers. And if Clemson is going to get back on track, then these four players are going to be big reasons why Clemson can turn its season around.
