Beaux Collins’ football career has been anything but predictable. Once a highly touted Clemson commit, then a steady playmaker for the Tigers, Collins’ road to the NFL was marked by detours, doubts, and perseverance. Today, the 22-year-old wide receiver finally reaches the stage he’s dreamed about: making his NFL debut for the New York Giants.
The College Grind
Collins arrived at Clemson in 2020 with high expectations. While he never became the Tigers’ breakout star, he proved to be a reliable target, tallying 1,290 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns in 32 games. He later transferred to Notre Dame, where he capped his college career with 490 yards and three scores while helping the Fighting Irish reach the national championship.
Despite solid production, Collins went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft, leaving his future uncertain.
Earning His Giants Stripes
The Giants scooped him up as an undrafted free agent, and from the start, Collins refused to blend into the background. Even after suffering a minor injury early in camp, he stormed back to make highlight plays, including an 80-yard bomb from Russell Wilson that opened eyes across the league.
“He’s built the right way,” Giants special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial said. “Instinctual, tough, and with long speed—you can tell he’s a football player.”
Collins’ effort paid off. He not only earned a roster spot but did so as the only undrafted free agent to make the Giants’ 53-man roster this year.
The Moment Arrives
Tonight, Collins’ story flips to a new chapter: game day. Once overlooked, he’s now a key depth piece for the Giants’ receiving corps and a player who has already won the respect of his coaches and teammates.
For Collins, this isn’t just about surviving the NFL—it’s about showing he belongs. After years of grinding through adversity, the undrafted rookie is officially making his NFL debut, proving once again that some of the best stories in football start with doubt.
