After another strong spring, Clemson football seems to have built some excitement and anticipation not only from its own fanbase, but from former players and media members.
There's been plenty of talk about the 2025 season being "special" for the Tigers.
And it feels like everyone is buying in.
Clemson returns one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Cade Klubnik who's coming off a career year in which he passed for over 3,600 yards and 36 touchdowns with six picks and he was also second on the team with 463 rushing yards and seven more scores.
The offensive line should be solid, too, and the backfield will have some new faces carrying the load, but the talent is not lacking in that department.
What about the receiving corps? Well, this may just be the strength of the team.
Not many teams return as much talent as the Tigers do to the receiving corps with Antonio Williams, Bryant Wesco Jr., and TJ Moore all back and then you throw in a guy like Tristan Smith who broke out during the spring game and you might just have the best 1-4 receiving corps in the country.
Don't take my word for it, though, listen to some of the experts (Greg McElroy) on the matter.

That wasn't the only gushing review of Clemson's receiving corps following spring ball, though. There was another glowing review from a former Tiger.
Let me just tell y’all something… Clemson has the best WR core in the country. These dudes are LOADED. pic.twitter.com/SlV6UBidQt

Eric Mac Lain, a former Clemson lineman, said that Clemson has three No. 1s at wide receiver and that's not even talking about Smith transferring in and breaking out this spring. Oh, and don't forget Tyler Brown and Cole Turner.
The excitement is building this offseason and it's going to lead right into the opener against LSU.
Klubnik will have no shortage of weapons to utilize in the passing game as the Tigers have an embarrassment of riches in the receiving corps.
