With the new player availability reports in college football, Clemson fans can be more aware of the players who will miss the UNC game on Saturday.

Offensive lineman Elyjah Thurmon is one of the most impactful players who is ruled out for Saturday’s game against UNC. Thurmon has recorded a start in 2025 and is listed as the backup right guard on ESPN.com.

The total list of players who have been ruled out includes: Jarvis Green, Peyton Streko, Jay Haynes, Armon Mason, Billy Wilkes, Makhi Williams Lee, Easton Ware, Mason Wade, Tristian Martinez, and Ari Watford.

Good news, there are no starters that are listed out for the UNC game. Coming off a bye week, that is kind of expected, but you never know in college football. Thurmon is loss to not have an offensive lineman with starting experience available to fill in if needed.

On the other sideline, the Tar Heels have starting quarterback Gio Lopez listed as questionable on the Thursday report. In addition to the starting quarterback being out for the Saturday game, UNC’s starting left guard, according to Tar Heel Times, Aidan Banfield, is also listed as questionable.

Lopez has thrown for 400 yards, three touchdowns, three interceptions, while recording a 63% completion percentage. Lopez has also added 69 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown on 33 attempts.

Other than the starting quarterback, Lopez, and the starting left guard, Banfield, UNC is also coming into this game relatively healthy, with no other heavy contributor listed as questionable or out for Saturday’s game.

The next availability report will come out one day before the game (Friday) and two hours before kickoff. Kickoff is slated for noon on Saturday in Chapel Hill and will be aired on ESPN.
