This is what Clemson basketball fans have been waiting a long time for. It has been an unreal past few days for this team, as Clemson has been able to do the unthinkable. Over the weekend, then No. 2 Duke was in town and the Tigers recorded an electric upset win.

Thanks to that victory, the program jumped into the AP Top 25, claiming the No. 23 spot. On Monday night, the struggling North Carolina Tar Heels made their way to Littlejohn Coliseum and the Tigers posted a 20-point win? Yup, that's exactly what happened.

You know who loved seeing this - Dick Vitale. He was at Clemson in his memorable return to ESPN for the shocking win over Duke and then he was watching things closely against UNC too. Seeing the 85-65 victory, Vitale took to social media to let everyone know how impressed he's been with the Tigers. This makes the past two games even better:

Dick Vitale has been quite impressed with the play of the Clemson Tigers

Go ahead and fire everyone up in the best way possible, Mr. Vitale. The fact that Vitale says Clemson is a legit Top 20 team is something a lot of people can agree with. No one thought the Tigers would take down Duke, but they did just that.

Even though it's been a year to forget for the Tar Heels and Hubert Davis, there were still plenty of Clemson haters who claimed the win over the Blue Devils was a fluke and UNC would take care of business. Yeah, that didn't even come close to happening.

It's been a memorable back-to-back games for Viktor Lakhin, as he posted 22 points each in the showdowns against Duke and North Carolina. He's riding high, even saying that Clemson should now be considered a blue blood after beating two such prestigious programs in North Carolina and Duke. Clemson basketball is making noise and it's time for the rest of the country to take this program seriously. Go ahead and listen to Dickie V. The Tigers are for real.
