Dick Vitale shows Clemson hoops major love after taking down UNC and Duke

This is what Clemson basketball fans have been waiting a long time for. It has been an unreal past few days for this team, as Clemson has been able to do the unthinkable. Over the weekend, then No. 2 Duke was in town and the Tigers recorded an electric upset win.

Thanks to that victory, the program jumped into the AP Top 25, claiming the No. 23 spot. On Monday night, the struggling North Carolina Tar Heels made their way to Littlejohn Coliseum and the Tigers posted a 20-point win? Yup, that's exactly what happened.

You know who loved seeing this - Dick Vitale. He was at Clemson in his memorable return to ESPN for the shocking win over Duke and then he was watching things closely against UNC too. He's riding high, even saying that Clemson should now be considered a blue blood after beating two such prestigious programs in North Carolina and Duke.
