Hunter Renfrow has a chance to be one of the best feel-good stories in the NFL this season. After being out of football following some injury issues and decreased production.

After posting over 1,000 yards with the Raiders in 2021, Renfrow took a couple of steps back, totaling just under 600 receiving yards on 61 receptions over the next two seasons.

The Raiders and Renfrow parted ways, and the former Clemson star was out of the league in 2024 and there was even a rumor that he was retiring. Renfrow responded to that report with a "news to me" response which everyone thought was hilarious but there was nothing on the horizon hinting at him signing with a team.

However, Renfrow did say he was trying to make a comeback, and that became official earlier this offseason as he signed a deal with the Carolina Panthers.

Clemson fans are hoping that Renfrow can make a legit return to the league by returning to his 2021 form but that's going to take a lot of work during summer camp.

He won't have a shortage of supporters, though.

In fact, Dabo Swinney decided to make the trip to Charlotte to check in on Renfrow and hang out with the team while taking in training camp.

Not only did Dabo show up to support his former wideout who helped him win one of his national titles, but he was filmed taking a selfie with Renfrow. When you hear all the current and former Clemson players say that the program feels like a family, this is what they mean.

Dabo loves his players, and he'll do whatever it takes to support them even if he hasn't coached them in almost a decade.
