ESPN's College GameDay panelists lost some hope in the Tigers. Last week, the iconic pregame show unanimously picked Clemson to beat Louisville. But the saying, "Once bitten, twice shy," comes to mind this week.

The panelists were split 4-2 in favor of the Tigers this week. Des Howard, Nick Saben, Coach Lee Corso, and guess pickers Livey Dunn and Paul Skenes still had faith in Clemson. However, Pat McAfee and Kirk Herbstreit strayed away. McAfee specifically said the game last week influenced his pick.

You can't blame them for choosing Tech. The Hokies have been a rollercoaster of a team, but they've played elite teams like Miami to the wire. Clemson's had a weaker schedule, comparatively, and has had trouble moving the ball against good defenses. It's also Clemson's first game away from Death Valley in nearly a month.

The Tigers will take on the Hokies at 3:30 p.m. (ET).
