There was a time when Dabo Swinney's teams seemingly never lost at home.
Those times are not these. The calendar is well into November, and the Clemson Tigers (3-5 overall, 1-3 ACC) are still searching for a home victory over a Power 4 opponent in 2025. The Tigers haven't done so since October 19, 2024.
They’ll look to make Florida State (4-4, 1-4) the team to end the streak against in a rivalry that’s seen plenty of close games over the years.
The Seminoles are 21-16 all-time against Clemson, but the Tigers have an even home record against FSU in Death Valley. Clemson lost its last home game in the series.
Both teams need this game to help secure bowl trips in 2025.
Availability
Cade Klubnik returned for the Tigers in last week’s loss to Duke and is expected to be ready for Saturday’s game against FSU.
Offensive lineman Collin Sadler and defensive tackle Vic Burley are listed as probable this week.

Predictions
Zach Lentz: Florida State is just as desperate and, crucially, they won here in 2023. They won't be intimidated by the setting. Expect this game to be close, but Clemson's fatal flaw will, once again, be the difference. The Tigers will move the ball, but a back-breaking fourth-quarter turnover will seal their fate. The home skid hits an unthinkable four games, and Clemson's bowl hopes will be all but extinguished.
Final score: Florida State 27, Clemson 23
Brad Senkiw: Not having a home win over a P4 team at this point in the season doesn’t seem real, but when you look back at how those games played out, Clemson deserves all of those Ls. And it’s going to cost them a bowl game. This feels like a bad time to be catching a rested, hungry FSU. Clemson still won’t put together a complete effort, and the home agony will continue for Swinney.
Final score: Florida State 37, Clemson 34
