Heading into Wednesday night's Clemson vs. Boston College game, there's still just one thing on the minds of all Tigers players, coaches, and fans: an ACC title.

Clemson is playing some of the best basketball of any team in the country while sitting in second place in the ACC, tied with Louisville. And there's a chance that the Tigers, Cardinals, and Duke Blue Devils could split the ACC title if Clemson is able to win its final two games of the regular season and North Carolina is able to upset their biggest rival this weekend.

Now let's not get too ahead of ourselves because Clemson still has a game to play on Wednesday night in Chestnut Hill against one of the ACC's bottom-dwellers.

Boston College is just 4-14 in league play with each of its wins coming against teams that aren't in the title race: Miami, Florida State, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech. Only one of the Eagles' ACC wins came against a team with a winning record in conference play.

So when the spread was revealed ahead of Wednesday's game, it shouldn't have been all that shocking to see Clemson as an overwhelming favorite, per DraftKings.

Spread: Clemson -14.5
Over/Under: 137.5
Moneyline: Clemson 1450 | Boston College +850

Sure, there are going to be some bettors out there that take Boston College to pull the upset because, well, it's March and crazy things like that happen. But I expect Brad Brownell to have his team more than ready to stay alive in the ACC title hunt. A win over Boston College ensures that the title hopes will remain alive until at least the Duke vs. UNC game.

The spread is fair, however. Clemson is one of the hottest teams in the country, rising to No. 11 in the AP Top 25 which is its best ranking since 2017-18 and Boston College has lost 12 of its last 15 games. The teams are trending in opposite directions.

My prediction? Clemson scores 90 and this game isn't close, 91-70.
