There’s nothing quite like draft week in Tigertown. We’ve seen these guys arrive as hyped-up recruits and turn themselves into legends right here in Death Valley. Now the NFL is knocking, ready to take a piece of what makes Clemson special. Once again, all eyes are on the Tigers, with four of our own about to make the leap from the paw to the pros.
From the iron man on the line to the edge rusher who lives in the backfield, this 2026 class is pure Clemson—tough, relentless, and ready to take over on Sundays. Here’s where our Tigers are projected to land when the draft gets rolling.
The Iron Man: Blake Miller
If you want to know what "Clemson Tough" really means, just look at Blake Miller. The man is a rock—3,778 snaps, more than anyone who’s ever worn the Paw, and not a single game missed in four years. That’s the kind of legacy that gets remembered around here.
Draft experts at CBS Sports and FOX Sports both have Miller headed to the Philadelphia Eagles at No. 23, while ESPN sees him going to the Cleveland Browns at No. 24. PFF and NFL.com have him at No. 28 to the Houston Texans. Every one of these teams needs a pillar on the line, and Miller offers the ultimate security: "staying healthy, a perk of his." He’s the only Tiger appearing on all five major mock boards, a testament to his status as a plug-and-play pro.
The High-Ceiling Anchor: Peter Woods
Don’t buy the dip—Peter Woods is an absolute force. Some folks have dropped him down their boards since last season, but anyone who’s watched him knows he’s built to anchor a defensive line for years to come. The film doesn’t lie.
CBS Sports is highest on Woods, sending him to the Chargers at 22, calling him a big-time upside pick. NFL.com and ESPN think he’ll be a Day 2 steal, pegging him for the Raiders at 36 or the Giants at 37. If he slides out of the first round, some team is about to get a Tiger-sized bargain.
The Game-Wrecker: T.J. Parker
T.J. Parker has been on a tear since day one in the Orange and Regalia. He capped off his Clemson career with a monster Senior Bowl, and now his stock is soaring. He’s the kind of game-changer every contender wants coming off the edge.
ESPN has the Chicago Bears snagging him at No. 25, while PFF likes the Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs to take him at No. 29. FOX Sports projects him to the Miami Dolphins at No. 30. Whether he goes late Thursday or early Friday, Parker has the motor to make an immediate impact.
The Island Specialist: Avieon Terrell
Avieon Terrell is a "shutdown corner," period. His draft stock took a minor hit recently after he "injured his hamstring" during a private pro day in Clemson, but the talent hasn't changed.
FOX Sports still has the Seattle Seahawks taking a flyer on him at the end of the first round (#32). If the hamstring keeps him out of Day 1, expect him to be one of the first names called on Friday, with ESPN and NFL.com projecting him to the Browns (#39) or Saints (#42). Whoever lands Terrell is getting a player with elite bloodlines and a nose for the football.
The NFL is about to find out what we’ve known for years: there’s just something in the water in Clemson.
