The Clemson Tigers will begin their 2026-27 season inside one of college football's most majestic cathedrals. Although Clemson has never played in Tiger Stadium before, it only adds to the allure and hype of the signature game of Labor Day Weekend. It features two of the game's most polarizing head coaches: Dabo Swinney and Lane Kiffin. This game has the entire sport's undivided attention.

Not only is the second leg of the Battle for Death Valley the marquee game of the weekend, but Kiffin's ongoing drama has played a role in how this game is being covered. He has the audacity to try to play former NFL players in a college football game. Clemson could exercise its breach-of-contract clause if it so chooses, but we all know Swinney and his team are ready to play anyone and everyone.

With Week 1 upon us, here are the latest odds, how to watch this game, and a final score prediction.

Latest betting odds for Clemson Tigers at No. 11 LSU Tigers

FanDuel Sportsbook has LSU giving Clemson 10.5 points ahead of the Saturday night matchup. The point spread has been locked in at this margin for some time. It has not been moving. The associated moneylines are LSU -400 and Clemson +315. This means you would need to bet $400 on LSU to win $100. If you were to place $100 on Clemson to win the game outright, you could collect $315.

The projected over/under for this game comes in at a combined 50.5 points. By using the 10.5-point spread mentioned above, we could be looking at a projected final score of something in the range of LSU 30.5, Clemson 20. While both offenses are forecasted to get into the end zone a few times, LSU is slated to win by more than one score. The game being played in Baton Rouge is a big factor in this.

Clemson Tigers at No. 11 LSU Tigers game prediction

As great as it would be for Clemson to pull off the stunning road upset, so much has to go right for the Tigers in this one. While upending LSU is not out of the realm of possibility, it is still rather unlikely.

This is because LSU has a distinct advantage in two areas. Those would be quarterback play and the defensive line. Sam Leavitt is far more experienced than Christopher Vizzina. While Clemson does boast a strong offensive line, its defensive line is its weak point coming in. If LSU can commit to the run, that may play a part in keeping Clemson off the field with any shot at an upset.

Look for Clemson to keep it interesting for a while before LSU pulls away a bit during the final frame.

Week 1 final score prediction: LSU 31, Clemson 23.
