Clemson's quest to return to the NCAA Tournament once again begins Monday night. The Tigers will host the Stetson Hatters at Littlejohn to kick off their 2026-27 college basketball campaign. Clemson has qualified for March Madness each of the last three years. However, Brad Brownell's team bowed out in the Round of 64 in the last two seasons. Clemson made it all the way to the Elite Eight in 2024.
The good news is there will be an expanded field this year. Brownell's team has won at least 23 games each of the last four seasons. The bad news is Clemson will have to sort through a myriad of roster uncertainties. While Brownell does seem to have an emerging star in the frontcourt in Dylan Faulkner, the backcourt continues to be very much a work in progress, especially with Dillon Hunter ruled out.
Here are the latest betting odds, how to watch, and a score prediction of Clemson versus Stetson.
Latest betting odds for Clemson Tigers vs. Stetson Hatters
According to the FanDuel Sportsbook, Clemson will be laying a whopping 25.5 points to visiting Stetson on Monday night. The associated moneylines for this game are Clemson -20000 and Stetson +3500. This means you would need to wager $20,000 on Clemson in order to win $100. On the other side of the coin, a $100 bet on Stetson could pocket you $3,500 in the event that the Hatters do win.
The projected point total comes in at a combined 144.5 points. By using the point spread and the over/under total, we could be looking at a final score somewhere in the vicinity of Clemson 85, Stetson 59.5. This projected final score suggests that Clemson dominates throughout, while playing well on both ends of the floor. Since this is an ACC team versus an ASUN team, it is the expectation.

Clemson Tigers vs. Stetson Hatters game prediction
As is the case with Clemson's first three games of the regular season, they will all be at home, going up against inferior competition. Anything short of a 3-0 start with non-conference wins over Stetson, American, and North Dakota should be met with massive disappointment. Fortunately for Brownell's team, no alarm bells will be sounded when the Hatters come to town. Clemson should win decisively.
As far as what to look for, Clemson needs to see if Faulkner's great play during the two preseason exhibition games continues into the early part of the regular season. Beyond that, a steadier showing out of the backcourt would be fantastic. That would require Ace Buckner and Harris Reynolds both handling their point guard duties well, as well as Cole Certa making his shots from outside the arc.
If Clemson does play up to its potential, the Tigers should beat the Hatters by more than 20 points.
