Death Valley is churning out NFL talent like only Clemson can, and this week the spotlight is burning bright on our Tigers. With the NFL world taking over Pittsburgh for the 2026 Draft, you can bet the orange faithful will be watching every pick. Seven or eight Tigers could get the call, but FOX Sports’ Joel Klatt is betting big on two of our fiercest warriors to steal the show on night one.
Klatt’s final mock draft has two Clemson legends going back-to-back in the first round, just another reminder that if you want the best, you come to the Upstate.
The Harbaugh Fit
First up is the game-changer himself, T.J. Parker. Some national folks might call his last season "quiet" with 37 tackles and five sacks, but anyone who bleeds orange knows Parker changed the game just by stepping on the field. Klatt has Jim Harbaugh and the Chargers grabbing him at No. 22 to build their defense around a true Tiger.
"The Chargers need help along the edge. We know coach Jim Harbaugh wants to build a run well and have his defense work from the inside and out. T.J. Parker was widely considered to be a surefire top-10 pick entering the 2025 season," Klatt noted. "He didn't have the season that many had hoped for him, though. I don't know what happened at Clemson this past season, but the talent is still there with Parker."
Philly’s New Foundation
Right after Parker, Klatt has the Eagles locking in the ultimate Iron Man, Blake Miller, at No. 23. Around Clemson, Miller’s toughness and reliability are legendary, and Klatt sees him as the perfect guy to carry the torch from one NFL great to the next.
"Maybe the Eagles go with an edge rusher or a wide receiver with the A.J. Brown trade rumors still lingering. They can also grab Lane Johnson's heir apparent at right tackle with this selection," Klatt said. "Miller is a really experienced and good player. We know the Eagles are at their best when their offensive line is leading the way for them."
Tiger Takeover in Pittsburgh
It all starts Thursday at 8 p.m. on ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network. With a record-setting class in sight, the Clemson family is fired up to watch Parker and Miller lead the way. No matter if it’s Friday night or Saturday afternoon, you can count on seeing the Paw called early and often.
The talent speaks for itself, the tradition is unmatched, and the Tigers are ready to roar when the lights are brightest.
