For anyone who has ever been to Clemson's Memorial Stadium or has watched a game hosted by the Tigers under the lights, they know just how crazy of an environment it is.

Clemson has one of the loudest environments in college football because Tiger fans are as passionate as any in the nation. They show up in big numbers and are pretty much on their feet until the final whistle, win or lose.

Memorial Stadium has plenty of traditions, too, like the running down the hill and the Howard's Rock entrance which sets the venue apart from the rest.

All in all, Clemson is one of the toughest places to play in the country.

It's also one of the loudest.

In fact, according to On3, Clemson has the fourth-loudest stadium in college football in terms of measured decibels. Unfortunately, the Tigers rank just behind their top rivals.

Clemson is one of just five teams that have broken 130 decibels and Tiger fans probably won't love to see Williams-Brice Stadium ranked just ahead of Memorial Stadium by 0.8 decibels. However, Memorial Stadium is just ahead of LSU's Tiger Stadium which may just determine where the real Death Valley resides.

Neyland Stadium is No. 1 which isn't a crazy surprise because Rocky Top is just one of those special places that feels like it always has that home magic. I'm a little surprised to see Husky Stadium at No. 2, however. I know Washington is a tough place to play, but I didn't expect it to be the second-loudest.

There are a couple of glaring omissions in that top 10: Ohio Stadium (Ohio State) and the Big House (Michigan).

Let's see if Clemson fans can break 132.8 decibels this season.
