Clemson has one of the best coaching staffs in college football, led by arguably the best coach in the game, Dabo Swinney. The legendary head coach has hired some elite assistants to surround himself with, including Tom Allen just this past season as the defensive coordinator.
There's no doubt Allen will be one of the best defensive coordinators in the nation by the end of the season, but what about Garrett Riley? He's easily considered one of the top offensive minds in the ACC, but one media outlet believes that he's near the top of the nation, in terms of offensive coordinator rankings.
According to On3, Clemson is home to one of the top five offensive coordinators in the nation. The popular media outlet has Riley as the No. 5 offensive coordinator in college football heading into the 2025 season.

Riley's ranking is likely only going to improve this season. The Tigers have the nation's best quarterback to go along with an elite receiving corps with 4-5 legitimate All-ACC caliber pass-catchers as well as a breakout candidate at running back, a quality offensive line, and a 6-foot-8 former basketball star at tight end to catch jump balls in the red zone.
It's the most cliche phrase in sports, but the sky really is the limit for this offense and if Riley can keep things fresh and play to his unit's strengths, the Tigers could average 40 per game.
And, honestly, I kind of expect Clemson to average around 40 per game because the Tigers have the players and the explosiveness, they just need to put it all together.
Klubnik had a heck of a career resurgence under Riley's watch and he has plenty of weapons to utilize and to play with in 2025 which is only going to make him look better.
It's hard to argue that he should be ahead of the four guys ranked above him, but I wouldn't be shocked if he was considered a top-three offensive coordinator by season's end.
Hopefully he's a national title-winning coordinator by then.
