Clemson’s offensive line recruiting machine is rolling.

The recruiting experts are starting to take notice, too, with several now predicting that four-star interior lineman Sam Walker will end up donning orange and white. If that happens, Walker could be the next big anchor for Clemson’s O-line, setting the mood for another elite group headed to Death Valley.

Walker, out of Carrollton, Georgia, is a flat-out mauler in the trenches and one of the most sought-after big men in the country. At 6-foot-4 and 320 pounds, he’s a force, already ranked among the top 60 players in America and a top-ten talent in Georgia.

He’s also the No. 4 interior lineman in his class. If Clemson can reel him in, it would be another home run for the Tigers’ blueprint of locking up elite building blocks early—just like we saw with Kharim Hughley and Max Brown. That’s how you build a championship line in the ACC.

Walker’s bond with Clemson has just grown stronger after several trips to campus, and he turned heads with an exceptional showing at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp. He got hands-on coaching from Matt Luke, showing off his talent in advanced drills, and by week’s end, he walked away with a well-earned Clemson offer.

Walker himself has raved about the staff’s focus on real player development, saying Clemson takes the time to teach the right way and only offers guys who fit the Tiger culture. That’s the kind of approach that wins championships.

The Tigers have the early edge, but make no mistake—this is shaping up to be a classic Southern recruiting slugfest. Georgia is the biggest threat, with the Bulldogs rolling out the red carpet for Walker and making their own pitch. Alabama, South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida—you name it, they’re all in the mix.

But with Matt Luke leading the charge, Clemson’s O-line recruiting has never looked stronger. Landing Walker would send a message that the Tigers are building a wall up front that’s going to dominate the ACC for years.
