Things are heating up in the transfer portal for Clemson. You can add that to the list of things you didn't think you'd hear in 2025.

The Tigers are adding another player out of the portal today. This time, it's Linebacker/edge Jeremiah Alexander from Alabama. Anytime people hear Bama, their ears perk up a little, but in this case, it's warranted.

Alexander is a former five-star, per 247Sports, with a .99 composite rating. He was the No. 1 edge in the 2022 class and the No. 18 player overall in the nation. In his three seasons with the Tide, the sophomore saw action in 25 games as a special teams player, recording eight tackles and two solos.

While the stats aren't incredibly impressive, Alabama has a roster loaded with talent. It's easy to be buried. However, the depth at LB is concerning at Clemson. And if Alexander can transition to a more traditional LB role, it'll help the Tigers immensely.

Alexander is the third portal addition this season after Dabo Swinney's public stance against it. He heads to Clemson with two years of eligibility left.
