Clemson has landed Corey Myrick, a productive safety from Southern Miss, giving the Tigers five transfer portal commitments in a two-day span — all on the defensive side of the ball.
Myrick committed while visiting campus Wednesday.

Myrick brings size, range and proven production to a secondary that was a clear offseason priority.

A former Marshall transfer, Myrick broke out at Southern Miss as a do-it-all safety, adding four pass breakups and a forced fumble to his stat line. His length and physicality give Clemson another versatile option who can play in space and near the box.
