Clemson is listed as one of just 3 "everything schools" in the country

Clemson athletics had a great 2024-25 calendar year with several programs finishing their respective seasons ranked in the final Top 25s.

We saw the football program make another playoff, the baseball team fall just short of the Super Regional, and the basketball team finish second in the ACC standings behind super-team Duke (who the Tigers actually beat in the regular season).

It's safe to say that the 2024-25 athletic season was a success all around for Clemson.

Although it's known more as a "football school" than anything else, Clemson was listed as one of just three "everything schools" by CFB Kings on X as the Tigers finished ranked in football, basketball, and baseball to end their respective seasons.

Only two other teams could say the same.

Let's start with football because that's the real moneymaker of the three sports. Dabo Swinney and the Tigers ran through the ACC, won yet another conference title, and made the College Football Playoff for the first time since Trevor Lawrence was under center. Unfortunately, the Tigers lost at Texas in the first round of the playoff, but the hopes are even higher for 2025.

Brad Brownell and the basketball program went 27-7 but lost to McNeese as a 5-seed. This came just one year after making the Elite Eight and reaching new heights as a program. Now, the Tigers will hope to bounce back in the postseason with an entirely new roster in 2025-26.

Lastly, Erik Bakich and the baseball team had a stellar regular season and hosted a regional once again, but it struggled after sneaking by USC Upstate, losing to West Virginia and Kentucky to get bounced before the Super Regional. Still, this was one of the best teams in the country.

All three programs finished ranked in the Top 25. Only Tennessee and Ole Miss could say that, too.

So whenever you hear a South Carolina fan say that Clemson is a "football school", don't forget to remind them that the Tigers dominate every major sport as an "everything school".
