May 30 was a big day for Dabo Swinney and the Clemson football program.
The legendary head coach hosted nearly three dozen recruits and most of them were four and five-stars. They all made their way to campus for the first official visit weekend of the summer and Swinney had a chance to make an impression on them and sway some commitments.
While no public commitments have been made stemming from the weekend, Swinney still made some big moves with top targets and received some big crystal balls because of it.
Prior to the weekend, Clemson received crystal ball projections to land five-star defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright and four-star lineman Carter Scruggs. Following the weekend, the Tigers received another major crystal ball for four-star interior offensive lineman Leo Delaney from Charlotte, N.C.
Delaney is projected to land the four-star offensive lineman over other finalists like Penn State and Michigan just hours before his commitment at 4 p.m. ET.
This would be a massive addition for Clemson as it would likely boost Clemson higher in the top five nationally after entering official visit season with the No. 5 class in the country.
Delaney is ranked the No. 62 overall recruit in the country and No. 5 interior offensive lineman, according to 247Sports. He had visits planned to Penn State and Michigan in the coming weeks, but the timing of this commitment makes it seem like it's all Clemson entering his decision on Wednesday night.
The Tigers' 2026 class should be growing by one on Wednesday thanks to one of the best linemen in the country.
