The nation isn't ready for Dabo Swinney and Clemson football to get hot again.

While the product on the field is slowly creeping up to those glory days before COVID-19, Swinney's recruiting prowess is also reaching elite levels again.

Clemson currently has the No. 4 class in 2026 and he just landed his seventh four-star in the form of in-state prospect Kentavion Anderson -- but he's not done yet.

With limited spots remaining in the 2026 class for Clemson, Dabo can afford to be even pickier throughout official visit season and through the fall. He doesn't need to take any commitment he could get, but rather he can aim for the stars (literally).

And that's what he's doing.

According to a report from Pete Nakos, Clemson has locked in an official visit with the No. 1 linebacker in the 2026 class who happens to be a top-10 overall recruit.

Tyler Atkinson is the No. 1 linebacker in the 2026 class and he's the No. 9 overall recruit, reigning from Loganville, Ga. With that hometown, you just know that the Bulldogs are high on his list and right now, that's the only crystal ball prediction on 247Sports for him -- he has one prediction to land at Georgia.

Still, Dabo isn't going to back down from a good recruiting battle.

Atkinson holds an astounding 50 offers (not a typo) and his top schools seem to be Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Ohio State, Tennessee, Texas, and, of course, Clemson. Securing an official visit with him is the first step and now Dabo has to blow him out of the water on that trip.

The official visit is set for May 30.
