As a head coach, what's one thing you want your players to do in the offseason with no one monitoring them? The correct answer is working on their game while also staying out of trouble. But Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney has to be thrilled about what his star quarterback and his receivers have been doing so far.
You want your players to better themselves as athletes and perfect their craft in the offseason so they come back to fall camp poised and ready to dominate.
That's exactly what Cade Klubnik, Antonio Williams, TJ Moore, and Bryant Wesco are doing. But they're all working out together which is an even better plan than Swinney could have hoped for.
The Tigers have one of the best offensive cores in college football with a deep and electric receiving corps to go along with arguably the top returning quarterback in the country. Klubnik has been ranked by many as the best quarterback in college football and he's even been promoted as a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
With that kind of hype, there comes a lot of pressure. These guys know that it's almost a 'national title or bust' type of season at Clemson and the hype has to be lived up to. In order to do that, these guys need to build chemistry and work on their games to get better.
That's exactly what they're doing.
Clemson has been taking all the steps to improve and push for a national championship in 2025 and it's occurrences like these that make fans buy in even more.
Dabo is smiling somewhere.
