It's officially recruiting season as spring ball is in the books and all Clemson football fans have to look forward to every day (other than the start of the 2025 season) is the potential commitment of 2026 class stars.

Dabo Swinney has done a spectacular job so far with the 2026 class, landing over a dozen prospects and leading the Tigers to the No. 5 class in the country. It was up to No. 2 until recently.

Obviously, Dabo isn't done yet.

The legendary head coach seems to have gotten his mojo back on the recruiting trail and he's landing some elite players and he's in the mix for several more. One of those elite players that he happens to be in the mix for ahead of official visit season (end of May until July) is local prospect Kentavion Anderson, a four-star safety.

Anderson is a four-star safety from Roebuck, S.C., and he was predicted to land with Clemson back in the spring but nothing came of that influx of crystal balls on 247Sports. On Friday, he received another prediction to land at Clemson via Chad Simmons with On3.

This would be a tremendous get for the Tigers who have been known to develop some elite defensive backs and obviously Anderson wants to be coached into an NFL player.

Clemson is the right spot for him in that case. Plus, it's home.

Anderson is ranked the No. 119 overall prospect and 10th-best safety in the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite. He's also the No. 2 recruit in South Carolina. The Tigers are projected to land him over the Gamecocks of South Carolina.
