EA Sports College Football 26 is less than two weeks away from its release and Clemson football fans, like everyone else, are chomping at the bit to start their dynasties with the Tigers.
Even online play will be huge for those looking to use Clemson as the Tigers are projected to be one of the top teams in the game as they are one of college football's premier programs heading into the 2025 season. Using Cade Klubnik and Co. might just be a cheat code.
While Clemson is considered one of the best teams in the country and a likely top-five preseason squad, EA Sports ranked the Tigers slightly lower than expected in the new game.

Clemson is ranked the No. 7 team in College Football 26 behind Alabama, Texas, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame, and Georgia. To me, this ranking feels far too low as the Tigers have the most returning production in the Power Four (from a playoff team, no less), the No. 1 quarterback in the country, the nation's best defensive line, and arguably the top receiving corps in college football.
All of that goes into a No. 7 overall ranking by EA Sports? Disrespectful, if you ask me.
Penn State is getting major hype once again but I believe that Clemson will be better this season and many experts agree. The same goes for Notre Dame and Georgia would be a toss-up.
At worst, I think Clemson is the fifth-best team in the country, but I guess the Tigers are just going to have to prove doubters wrong once again.
