A year ago around this time, Tait Reynolds was performing in front of Clemson football offensive coordinator Garrett Riley and Dabo Swinney at the Tigers' camp in order to impress the staff and earn an offer.

Well, three days after camp, that offer came.

While Reynolds held offers from the likes of Texas A&M, Baylor, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, West Virginia, Miami, Arizona, Tennessee, TCU, Washington, Kansas State, Florida State, Utah (where his brother played), Oklahoma State, Iowa State, BYU, and Oregon, among others, he seemed to be waiting for that Clemson offer.

When he got it, he didn't waste much time, committing less than a month later.

Now, he's fully committed to the Tigers and just took his official visit to Clemson on May 30 to check out his future school. He then headed off to participate in Elite 11 regionals a couple of weeks later.

The Elite 11 selection performed well enough to be named one of the top performers from the Elite 11 regionals by On3.

While he's just No. 11 on the list, there are some really good quarterbacks on there and some who didn't even make the cut. People seem to be overlooking Reynolds a bit, and this list is proof that you shouldn't.

While Reynolds isn't ranked as highly as guys like Trevor Lawrence, Cade Klubnik, or even DJ Uiagalelei were, he's still a talented athlete who should be expecting to compete for a starting job at some point relatively early on in his Clemson career.

Reynolds will be looking to make more noise at Elite 11 later this summer.
