The basketball team may be very much alive in the NCAA Tournament, approaching its first-round game with McNeese on Thursday, but Clemson football is also working as Dabo Swinney and Co. have been grinding on the recruiting trail as spring ball starts.
The Tigers have been on fire, recruiting-wise, for the past couple of weeks, landing a slew of four-stars a week ago, going from mid-30s nationally for 2026 all the way up to No. 2.
It's safe to say that Dabo isn't even close to done working on that class.
With 12 commits, there's obviously room for more and the class should likely double by National Signing Day, at least, and there could be another on the way in the next month.
On Tuesday, four-star wideout Gordon Sellars revealed his top six schools and set a commitment date from exactly one month from now on April 18. Clemson made the cut.

Clemson, Ohio State, Michigan, South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina A&T (not a typo) were all listed in his top schools with a commitment date approaching. This is a loaded list for the Charlotte, N.C., native and some believe he's going to stay close to home and pick South Carolina or Clemson but you can't rule out the national champions from the past three years, either.
Ohio State has produced elite receivers every year and all you have to do is look at the NFL for proof that he could go there and become a legitimate pro. Michigan doesn't use receivers quite as much so that could be an issue for them, but they do have five-star freshman Bryce Underwood passing the ball now. Georgia is Georgia. And South Carolina is close to home and on the rise.
Sellars is ranked the No. 203 overall recruit and No. 33 receiver in the 2026 class, per the 247Sports Composite. Landing him would be another huge recruiting win for Dabo and he does have a planned visit to Clemson on May 30.
