The four words that no ACC or college football fan wants to hear: Clemson football is back.
While the Tigers still need to prove it in 2025, they are looking like the favorites to win the ACC and one of the top contenders to win a national title. They return the most production of any team in the Power Four and that's coming off a playoff season in which they won the ACC.
With all of this success and pending success, recruiting usually sees an uptick.
So far, that's been accurate as the Tigers are ranked No. 4 in the 2026 class and they just secured an official visit with the No. 1 linebacker in the cycle, landed the No. 2 in-state recruit, and now they're on the short list of teams still contending for four-star defensive lineman Keshawn Stancil from North Carolina.
The four-star defensive lineman from Clayton, N.C., has a top five of Penn State, Miami, Georgia, NC State, and Clemson and there's really no feel for who leads right now. He doesn't have a single crystal ball prediction on 247Sports despite being a fringe top-150 recruit.
Stancil is actually ranked the No. 153 overall recruit and 20th-best defensive lineman in the country, per the 247Sports Composite. He's also the No. 10 prospect from the talent-ridden state of North Carolina.
As of the announcement of his top five, he doesn't hold an offer from Clemson, according to 247Sports, which means that a visit and an offer might just seal the deal here.
Dabo is contending in recruitments that he doesn't even have offers in.
