Entering the 2025 season, Clemson football has some of the best position groups in the country. In fact, several publications are high on the Tigers' defensive line, quarterback room, and especially that receiving corps.
While the defensive line might be No. 1 in the country thanks to Peter Woods and TJ Parker, but you can't sleep on the receiving corps which is led by a top-five receiver prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Antonio Williams is projected to be one of the best receivers in the country and he has plenty of depth behind him which is only going to take pressure off his shoulders. He has guys like Bryant Wesco Jr., TJ Moore, and Tristan Smith. This is the type of depth that will make the Tigers so difficult to stop and as long as they can figure out the run game, this offense is going to be explosive.
CBS Sports ranked their top receiving corps in college football for the 2025 season and, to no one's surprise, Ohio State came in at No. 1 thanks to Jeremiah Smith leading an absolutely loaded group.
The best receiving corps not named Ohio State was Clemson, though.
"Clemson is working its way back into the "WRU" conversation. Dabo Swinney has completely reversed the position's downturn from recent years. The 5-foot-11 Antonio Williams provides a veteran hand for a young, but extremely talented, group. Williams led the ACC with 11 touchdowns last season while establishing great rapport with Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik. In fact, Clemson returns all three of its leading receivers from the 2024 season. "Will Backus, CBS Sports
Clemson does have some elite talent at the position and its top four pass-catchers would start on 99 percent of teams around college football. Outside of Ohio State, Clemson has the best and deepest group of wideouts in the nation.
The hype surrounding this team is immeasurable.
