While all the focus has been on Brad Brownell and the transfer portal in recent weeks, we almost forgot that Dabo Swinney and Clemson football, too, have to keep an eye on portal entrants.
We all know Swinney's stance on the portal and when asked about it following Saturday's spring game, he said that the Tigers liked the roster they had and that they would likely be staying away from the portal unless they really had to utilize it.
Swinney was also asked about attrition and he gave a vague answer that made it seem like he knew of a couple of guys who might be leaving.
One of those guys officially entered the transfer portal on Monday.

Former four-star cornerback Tavoy Feagin officially entered the transfer portal on Monday afternoon after Swinnet hinted at the redshirt freshman doing so.
Following the spring game, Swinney talked about a couple of guys who stepped away from the team and Feagin was one of them. You could kind of read between the lines on his answer about the team's attrition post-spring and the fact that Feagin wasn't with the team during the spring game and tell that it was basically a done deal.
A former Under Armour All-American and four-star recruit in the 2024 class with over 50 offers, Feagin will undoubtedly draw plenty of interest in the portal.
Clemson's cornerback depth took a bit of a hit here, but it just felt like Feagin was growing impatient with his role. The Tampa, Fla., native could look at some home-state programs like Florida, Florida State, and Miami to call home for the next 3-4 years, but he has essentially a who's who of college football teams that offered him out of high school.
Feagin will have no shortage of interest in the portal with four years of eligibility left.
