Saturday could be a massive day for Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney.

The Tigers are currently celebrating the holiday, but they may be closing in on adding their first five-star in the 2026 class. They're about 24 hours away from learning Bryce Perry-Wright's decision and it looks like Clemson is the favorite heading into his commitment date.

Perry-Wright is announcing between Texas A&M, Miami, Texas, and Clemson on Saturday afternoon, and if you go by the predictions on 247Sports and On3, he's likely to become a Tiger.

The five-star defensive lineman is ranked No. 32 in the country and he's the No. 2 player at his position. He's also the fifth-best Georgia-based recruit in the 2026 class, showing just how many dominant players are from the Peach State.

Dabo and the Tigers made a fantastic early impression on Perry-Wright, hosting him on May 30 before going to Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M, and he also visited Auburn earlier in May.

Clemson is building a special recruiting class, and if Perry-Wright becomes the latest commit like I expect him to be, the Tigers could jump back into the top five nationally. Plus, this isn't the final five-star that Clemson is after. Darius Gray and Tyler Atkinson are also high on Clemson's 2026 targets list as five-stars.

People are starting to really take notice of what Dabo is doing in the 2026 class, and he's building off the momentum he's built with his 2025 team. There is no program hotter right now than Clemson.

A five-star may be on the way on Saturday.
