While Clemson football's 2026 recruiting class has slipped from No. 2 in the country down to No. 7 over the past month thanks to official visit season, it added a big target -- literally and figuratively -- on Saturday evening.
Keshawn Stancil was deciding between NC State, Georgia, Miami, Penn State, and Clemson and he made his decision official on Saturday, much to the delight of Tiger fans.
Stancil becomes the 20th commitment in Clemson's 2026 class and he's now the seventh-highest-rated Tiger pledge in the cycle, per 247Sports.

On top of being Clemson's seventh-highest-rated commit in the class, he's also the No. 1 defensive lineman on the Tigers' board right now. He is joining a loaded group at Clemson and he's hoping to be the next Peter Woods which is a high bar to aim for, but he's also considered the No. 1 NFL Draft prospect for 2026.
Stancil is ranked the No. 157 prospect in the 2026 class and he's the No. 20 defensive lineman in the country, according to the composite.
The Tigers' 2026 class is filling up quickly, but it looks like Dabo Swinney is landing a lot of Plan A targets and he's building one of the best groups he's ever had at Clemson. There's still some work to do, but the 20 guys currently committed have to give fans hope for both the immediate and distant future.
Winning a recruiting battle over Georgia after losing out on four-star running back Jae Lamar to the Bulldogs earlier this week had to be a nice feeling for Dabo and Co.
