Spring ball is in the books and Clemson football fans are just ready for the season to start.

While the baseball team is still hunting a College World Series and the basketball team just finished its most successful regular season possibly ever, football takes center stage on this campus, and for good reason. Dabo Swinney has built a perennial contender and football reigns supreme.

The Tigers haven't been at the top of the sport since before COVID-19, however, and everyone is wondering when -- or if -- that will happen again. Swinney is working on that.

Clemson may actually have its best roster since those national title teams and the expectations surrounding this year's team are through the roof.

A senior Cade Klubnik is back as one of the top passers in college football and he has a hopeful, young backfield with elite potential and arguably the best receiving corps in the country. Defensively, Clemson is Clemson. The Tigers will be elite again and Tom Allen is one of the best defensive minds in the business and has the energy to boot.

Spring was a successful stage for this team, especially with the little attrition that the team experienced -- other teams (Tennessee) have not been so lucky.

So with that, I decided to take a peak at the post-spring ACC title odds on DraftKings, and I was not shocked to see Clemson leading the way. I was, however, surprised to see just how wide the margin was between the Tigers and the next team on the list.

Here are the top five contenders, per DraftKings:

Clemson: +160
Miami: +300
SMU: +750
Louisville: +800
Georgia Tech: +1200

If you're wondering where Florida State is, the Seminoles are seventh at +2500. What a fall from grace from that undefeated regular season in 2023.

I kind of expected Miami to have more juice as the Hurricanes have been getting a ton of spring hype and they've kind of lived in the transfer portal. But Vegas still believes that Clemson is the clear favorite here and outside of the Tigers and Hurricanes, the next closest team is SMU all the way down at +750.

Clemson has all the pieces to make a run at yet another conference title and they're also eighth in the country in terms of national title odds at +2000.

Get those bets in, folks.
