If you follow Clemson football recruiting closely, you'd know that the Tigers are facing a massive weekend to end the month of May.
Don't believe me? All you have to do is check the official visitor list for May 30 to realize that there are nearly three dozen elite recruits headed to campus to meet with the staff, check out the program, and see what being a Tiger is all about. Dabo Swinney is preparing for a monster recruiting weekend that could bolster his already-impressive 2026 class.
The official visits won't stop for Clemson on May 30, however, as the Tigers will be hosting top targets throughout the month of June as well, including four-star defensive lineman Keshawn Stancil.
What makes Stancil so important? He recently listed Clemson in his top five about a week ago and it was especially interesting seeing as he didn't hold an offer from the Tigers.
That changed on Tuesday night.
Stancil now holds an offer from the Tigers which makes his June 14 official visit even more important. This could be an opportunity for Dabo and Co. to close on the four-star defensive lineman from North Carolina over NC State, Penn State, Miami, and Georgia.
Being included in his top five before even receiving an offer is telling to where his interest level is with Clemson and it feels like the Tigers are in a really good spot here.
Stancil is ranked the No. 152 overall recruit in the 2026 class as well as the 20th-best defensive lineman, according to the 247Sports Composite.
