Kyle Richardson has identified his next tight end target for Clemson football.

After participating at the 2025 Dabo Swinney Football Camp earlier in June, the Tigers seemingly fell in love with 2027 tight end Jaxon Dollar's game. The four-star tight end has been rising up the ranks rather rapidly and he was just offered by Clemson on Monday.

Dollar has an elite offer sheet thus far, so Clemson is going to have a legit fight on its hands. He holds 19 early offers from programs like Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Michigan, Missouri, NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, and Tennessee. There will likely be more on the way for the 2027 prospect.

The four-star tight end is a product of Denver, N.C., and stands 6-foot-5 and 208 pounds. He'll obviously have to bulk up a bit because he has the size of a receiver, but all of these programs are confident that he'll be able to do so.

247Sports has Dollar ranked as the No. 93 overall recruit in the class and No. 5 tight end.

Dabo is looking to bolster that tight end room which is dealing with some uncertainty heading into the 2025 season with Jake Briningstool moving on and Ian Schieffelin ditching basketball to join the football team at the position. Adding a player like Dollar would arguably be the biggest addition at the position since the 2024 class (Christian Bentancur).

As of Tuesday afternoon, Clemson has just one 2027 pledge in the form of three-star linebacker Max Brown from Jefferson, Ga. Dabo is hoping to build on that sooner rather than later.
