For the most part, Clemson played a much better second quarter. After giving Virginia life with penalties, the defense cleaned up its game, and the offense started to pick up the pace.

At the end of the first quarter, Cade Klubnik threw an interception in the Tigers' territory. It resulted in a Cavaliers touchdown, but after that score, it was all Clemson. Klubnik led the offense down the field on back-to-back drives for a touchdown. The ground game hasn't been very effective, but Phil Mafah still has 55 yards and both of Clemson's touchdowns.

Overall, it's great to see the Tigers get over the first-quarter slump. Trap games are called that for a reason. With Louisville around the corner and after a huge win last week, it's hard to get up for Virginia. And while it struggled in the beginning, Clemson is on pace to put away the Cavaliers early.
