One of the top offensive linemen in the country, Zyon Guiles, calls the state of South Carolina home. Soon, the Clemson football program hopes he will call Clemson home as well.

The 6-foot-5, 280-pound native of Hemingway, South Carolina, has cut his list of schools down to seven, and according to Hayes Fawcett of On3 Sports, he will make his final decision known on March 21.

The schools in the running to land this elite 2026 prospect include Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, and Florida State. He also holds offers from the likes of Auburn, Colorado, Miami, NC State, North Carolina, Virginia Tech, and others.

According to the 247Sports.com composite rankings, Guiles is the No. 157 overall player and No. 14 offensive lineman in his class. He's also the No. 3 player in South Carolina behind 4-star safety J'Zavien Currence of South Pointe (who his committed to the Gamecocks) and 4-star safety Kentavion Anderson of Dorman (who is currently uncommitted).

Guiles has held an offer from Clemson since June of 2024. 247Sports shows that he has an official visit with the Tigers set for May of this year, but of course, if he commits elsewhere, that likely won't take place.

Currently, the Tigers have six players committed to their 2026 recruiting class. None are rated a 4-star prospect, though, as Guiles is.

The current Clemson recruiting class does include offensive tackle Braden Wilmes, a 3-star prospect from Lawrence, Kansas. However, 247Sports shows 13 other 2026 offensive linemen with offers from Dabo Swinney and Co.

Nine of those players are rated as 4-star prospects so the Tigers are still working on bringing in a nice offensive line haul. Hopefully, Guiles will become the next building block for the future of the Clemson offensive line. Clemson fans will soon find out.
