It's been a busy week for Clemson basketball and head coach Brad Brownell.
Just a week after getting eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in shocking and heartbreaking fashion, the Tigers have been reaching out to transfer portal targets left and right.
Brownell knows that he has some work to do after losing seven guys to graduation or the transfer portal. Gone are Chase Hunter, Del Jones, Asa Thomas, Jaeden Zackery (potentially), Chauncey Wiggins, Ian Schieffelin, and Viktor Lakhin.
The Tigers are bringing in a three-man recruiting class for 2025 and Brownell has reached out to numerous players in the transfer portal.
We've heard rumblings of Clemson being involved with Nick Davidson (Nevada), Cooper Schwieger (Valparaiso), Malik Reneau (Indiana), Nick Pringle (South Carolina), and Jalen Jackson (IPFW). Clearly the Tigers are working on improving that roster for next season to avoid a rebuild, but it's not going to matter until these kids start making their way to campus for a visit.
Well, he's reportedly reached out to another coveted portal star in Fairleigh Dickinson guard Terrence Brown who averaged over 20 points per game this season.
NEWS: Fairleigh Dickinson star guard Terrence Brown has heard from these schools since going portaling, he told @LeagueRDY:

Clemson could use a guard or two -- or three -- to replace Hunter, Zackery, and Jones. Brown would be a nice addition and a guy who could take over that go-to scorer role. He averaged 20.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game while shooting 44 percent from the floor and just under 30 percent from deep.
Obviously you'd want a guard that can shoot a little better from deep, but Brown can score from all three levels and he didn't score 20 points per game by mistake.
We'll see if the Tigers can get him to campus.
