After losing his entire Clemson basketball roster to the transfer portal and the 2025 NBA Draft, Brad Brownell wasted no time replacing everyone and filling out his 2025-26 roster.
In fact, the veteran head coach has now picked up his sixth transfer commit as coveted Middle Tennessee star Jestin Porter chose the Tigers on Tuesday evening.

Porter feels like the final piece to the 2025-26 puzzle likely because he is. He puts the Tigers at capacity for scholarships heading into next season which shuts the door on a potential Jaeden Zackery return -- for now -- especially since the one-year rental is out of eligibility currently and entered his name into the transfer portal.
The Middle Tennessee guard now joins the likes of Carter Welling (Utah Valley), Jake Wahlin (Utah), Nick Davidson (Nevada), RJ Godfrey (Georgia), and Efrem Johnson (UAB) who are all taking their talents from the portal to Clemson.
After losing guys like Ian Schieffelin, the aforementioned Zackery, Chase Hunter, Del Jones, Chauncey Wiggins, and Viktor Lakhin, Brownell needed a huge offseason in the transfer portal and he got just that with his six additions to go along with his four-man incoming freshman class.
Porter brings an explosive game to Clemson as he averaged 15 points and 2.9 rebounds per game last season, shooting 36 percent from deep and 41 percent from the floor. He could afford to work on his efficiency from inside the arc because he has never shot above 42.3% from the floor in his career and he's turned into an above average 3-point shooter.
Clemson now has its backcourt set with Porter joining the mix.
