Only one team stands above Clemson baseball in the national rankings.

And after Tuesday night's performance, the experts who decide the weekly rankings may have a tougher decision on their hands. Clemson took down No. 10 Georgia 3-0 at home to improve to 36-7 on the season just days after moving up to No. 2 in the D1 Baseball poll.

That's right, on Tuesday night, Clemson beat the No. 10 team in the country 3-0, holding the Bulldogs scoreless in nine strong innings. The Tigers also allowed just three hits.

Talan Bell got the start and pitched 3.2 strong innings, allowing just two hits and striking out five while the bullpen came in and shut the door in 5.1 innings, allowing just one more hit with four strikeouts.

Dominic Listi, Cam Cannarella, and Collin Priest were the heroes of the game outside of the pitching staff, recording an RBI each to go along with one base knock each. It wasn't the best offensive game for the Tigers, but the top of the order came in clutch as Clemson raced out to a 2-0 lead early on thanks to extra base hits by Listi, Cannarella, and also Priest.

With the win, Clemson improves to 36-7 on the season ahead of some really big series to end the regular season. Erik Bakich has his team playing elite baseball at the right time and it feels like the Tigers will be heading into the postseason with a ton of momentum.

The quest for a College World Series continues and Clemson may have just made a legit case to be the No. 1 team in the country.
