For the second time in three years, Clemson baseball is headed to the ACC title game.

On Saturday afternoon, the Tigers faced Georgia Tech in the ACC Tournament semifinal and took care of business, 9-4, to advance to the ACC Championship.

Despite the final score being so lopsided, the game wasn't looking great for the Tigers early on. Georgia Tech raced out to a 3-0 lead and you could almost feel the nervous energy in the crowd from Clemson fans but it would soon storm back, take a lead and then never look back thanks to one of the most clutch hits of the entire season.

Down 3-1 in the top of the third inning with two outs and the bases loaded, Jacob Jarrell stepped up to the plate and hit a grand slam, his 15th home run of the season. The crowd erupted and the bench exploded from the dugout to greet the semifinal hero at home plate.

Clemson didn't look back from that point, adding four more runs and keeping Georgia Tech off the board, winning 9-4 to advance to the ACC Championship against North Carolina on Sunday.

The Tar Heels were the No. 3 seed in the ACC Tournament compared to the fifth-seeded Tigers and this is the first meeting between the two conference foes this season. If this is the first game of the season that you tune into, you're going to get a treat as Clemson and North Carolina are two of the best teams in college baseball and two storied programs all time.

Sunday is going to be fun.
