With the No. 1 pick of the 2026 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select... Cade Klubnik, quarterback from Clemson University.

There's a very good chance we hear those words out of Roger Goodell's mouth next spring as the 2026 NFL Draft rolls around and really the only thing that's unknown is which team is going to get that top pick. Right now, the Browns are the favorite, but it could be any number of teams.

Draft experts are already posting their way-too-early 2026 NFL Mock Drafts and ESPN's painted that exact picture above with the Tigers' gunslinger going at the top of the first round.

According to Matt Miller's latest ESPN mock draft, Klubnik is the No. 1 overall pick in a Clemson-loaded first round.

While the Browns did just draft Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders in the 2025 NFL Draft, Miller believes that they should go with a more long-term franchise quarterback like Klubnik who happens to be his No. 1 quarterback heading into the 2025 season and 2026 draft process. He also went on to say that Klubnik reminds him of Baker Mayfield, a former Brown and Heisman Trophy winner with Oklahoma.

Klubnik at No. 1 wasn't the only Clemson mention in Miller's early mock as he had TJ Parker going No. 3 overall to the Tennessee Titans, Peter Woods going No. 6 to the Carolina Panthers, Antonio Williams going No. 14 overall to the Arizona Cardinals, and Avieon Terrell going No. 24 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Talk about a Clemson-dominant first-round projection with three top-10 picks, four in the top-15, and five in the first round overall. We'll take it.
