Dabo Swinney has Clemson football trending and in a great spot after spring ball.
The Tigers had a successful spring with some newcomers (Tristan Smith) standing out and the usual suspects performing well and staying healthy. Clemson essentially made it through spring ball unscathed and didn't suffer any major attrition via the transfer portal.
On top of that, Swinney landed a handful of 2026 recruits during the spring and vaulted his class up to No. 2 nationally and it currently stands at No. 5 with room to move up again.
If all goes as planned in the next couple of months, Clemson should have a top-three class in the country. Adding a five-star wideout like Cederian Morgan would help.
The five-star from Alexander City, Ala., just narrowed his list of potential suitors down to six and he's set a commitment date for July 2.

According to 247Sports, Morgan is the No. 14 recruit in the country as well as the third-best receiver. He held 30 offers and now he's down to just six: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Colorado, Georgia, and Clemson. It's two-thirds SEC teams but Clemson is in here for a reason and the Tigers have the advantage of having potentially the best receiving corps in college football.
If the goal here for Morgan is to make it to the NFL while competing for championships, Clemson may be the best choice out of the bunch (or Alabama and Georgia). The Tigers have sent plenty of receivers to the league and Dabo is a former wideout himself. He knows what it takes.
Clemson gets Morgan's second official visit on May 30 after Georgia before he heads to Florida, Auburn, and Alabama in the following weeks. Dabo needs to make a statement.
