The AP Poll released its week 12 college basketball rankings on Monday, and despite winning five of the six games since the Tigers dropped out of the poll, Clemson did not make the cut.

The last time the Tigers were ranked was in week seven, coming in at No. 25. They had dropped nine spots from the week prior after losing to the current 24th-ranked team in the country, Memphis, in overtime, 87-82. Then, Clemson lost another overtime game to instate rival South Carolina in Columbia, 91-88, which forced them out completely.

The SEC continues to dominate the poll with nine teams, including Auburn at No. 1, followed by No. 4 Alabama, No. 5 Florida, No. 6 Tennessee, and No. 9 Kentucky in the top ten. The Big Ten is second, although it only has one team in the top-10, No. 9 Michigan State.
