As official visit season comes to an end, prospects are evaluating where they stand after taking all of their trips and fans are waiting and wondering who might be added to their favorite team's 2026 class. Clemson football fans are no different.

It was a relatively tame official visit season for Clemson as the Tigers landed a few top prospects and sit at No. 6 nationally in team recruiting rankings, but there are still some elite targets left on the board.

Like Tyler Atkinson.

The five-star linebacker from Georgia was on campus during that first official visit weekend on May 30 and it sounded like everything exceeded his expectations. He got to see a different side of Clemson that he maybe didn't even know existed.

And following the visit, he shared what impressed him while he was on campus.

Clemson apparently drew up some "Atknup packages" on the defensive side of the ball that would play into his favor if he were to commit to the Tigers. Those are plays designed to get him involved and based around him on the defensive side of the ball. Honestly, that's just great recruiting by Clemson's staff to come up with packages like that involving an elite player like Atkinson.

Recruits recognize and feel that kind of love from schools when they personalize certain aspects of their visit and it sounds like Clemson knocked it out of the park.

Sure, there's going to be a difficult uphill battle to land Atkinson over the likes of Texas, Georgia, Oregon, and Ohio State, but this type of personalization on the visit has resonated with him.

Well done, Dabo Swinney and Co.
