There is no question that the Clemson football program is trying to load up on wide receivers in the 2026 recruiting class. Of course, that is a position group that is always in high demand for most programs in the modern era of the sport.

One wide receiver to keep an eye on is Craig Dandridge from Alpharetta, GA. According to Sam Spiegelman of Rivals.com and Yahoo.com, the 4-star prospect has set dates for unofficial visits with eight programs, and the first of those will be Clemson.

Spiegelman reports that Dandridge will visit the Tigers on March 3, which is this Monday. The next day, he is set to pay a trip to Georgia Tech before being at Oklahoma on March 8. Then, on March 11, he'll be in Gainesville, Florida to see the Florida Gators before being at Tennessee on March 14, Vanderbilt on March 22, Georgia on March 25, and Duke on April 19.

Dandridge is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound pass catcher. According to 247Sports.com's composite rankings, he is the No. 363 overall player and No. 60 wide receiver in the class of 2026. Last season, as a junior, he amassed 1,443 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns on 58 receptions in just 12 games played.

What is interesting is that 247Sports does not show that he holds an offer from all of the programs that he is set to visit. That includes Clemson.

However, that could change on Monday. Of course, Clemson could also slow-play this recruiting battle given how many high-profile wide receivers the Tigers are pursuing in the current recruiting cycle.

In the class of 2026, Clemson has offered five wide receivers (according to 247Sports.com). While each is also a 4-star prospect like Dandridge, all five are ranked more highly.

Thus, Dandridge might not be the Tigers' preferred target at wide receiver. However, he might be a nice option if Dabo Swinney and Co. miss out on some of the players who already hold Clemson offers.

The fact that he is visiting Clemson this coming week is a sign that there is mutual interest between the player and the school. Thus, this is a player that fans who follow recruiting should keep an eye on.
