Clemson Men’s Soccer 2, Notre Dame 1: The Tigers avenge their earlier season loss to the Fighting Irish and win the College Cup to bring home their fourth national title in school history.
This is Mike Noonan’s second, which ties him with I.M. Ibrahim. The program will be adding the fourth star to their crest soon.

The Tigers arrived home early in the morning, but they had a welcoming committee.
Jeremiah Trotter is racking up more honors
Clemson Football alum Jeremiah Trotter Jr. is once again being recognized for an excellent 2023 campaign.
The finalist for the Butkus Award is again being named to All-American squads. The Associated Press, one of the more traditional and respected All-American outlets, has named Trotter to their second-team.
Sports Illustrated and others have named Trotter to their first-team. Altogether, he has been honored by seven different outlets as an All-American for 2023.
Trotter plans to enter the 2024 NFL Draft and will not play for Clemson in the Gator Bowl.
More comings and goings (but mostly goings) in college football
Former Clemson Football player Mitchell Mayes has announced that he will be transferring up the road to play for the Charlotte 49ers.
Mayes is a good get for Biff Poggi and Charlotte.
It’s not portal related, but we did get official confirmation that Drake Maye intends to enter the 2024 NFL Draft.
North Carolina has already recruited Max Johnson, formerly of LSU and Texas A&M, to replace Maye.
The new basketball polls have been released and Clemson Men’s Basketball has taken a jump in both after victories against South Carolina and TCU.
The Tigers have a bit of time off but face another tough opponent next week as they travel to Memphis.
The Memphis Tigers just got a road victory over a ranked Texas A&M squad, so they are playing good basketball right now. It will be a tough matchup for Clemson.
Clemson Track and Field has signed another two newcomers.
